About Jersey Shore, PA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Jersey Shore is a Lycoming County, Pennsylvania borough located on the West Branch Susquehanna River. This community is situated 15 miles southwest of Williamsport, and despite its name, it is actually over 100 miles away from New Jersey. Approximately 4,400 people call Jersey City home today, and notable residents have included NFL player Robbie Gould and author Hunter S. Thompson.

Despite its location in Central Pennsylvania and not along the New Jersey coastline, there are still a few interesting things to see and do in Jersey Shore. Outdoor recreation is especially popular, and the southern terminus of the Pine Creek Rail Trail is found here.  Jersey Shore is home to a variety of unique restaurants, including the Shore Diner, Santino’s Italian Cuisine, and the Gateway Café. Visitors or residents in need of a unique gift might want to check out BJ’s Flowers & Things or Russell’s Florist & Greenhouse. There are also a few golf courses located in nearby communities, including the White Deer Golf Course in neighboring Montgomery.

When living in Jersey Shore, it is imperative that you prepare well ahead of time for any possible weather conditions. Summers in the region are hot with high humidity. Daily highs in July and August will surpass 90 degrees on many instances, and the right central air conditioner can make all the difference in indoor comfort levels. An investment in a high SEER unit can also dramatically reduce home cooling costs.

During the winter months, Jersey Shore weather conditions are markedly different. Temperatures drop quickly, and there are many days where daytime highs stay below the freezing point. A reliable electric or gas furnace is crucial, as are regular servicing appointments with a Jersey Shore HVAC technician. This way, you’ll feel confident that your climate controls system will work when you need them.
