About Linden, PA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Linden, PA is a small community located outside of Williamsport. Approximately 3,200 people call the community home, many of whom are married with children. While Williamsport is only about eight miles east, other major metro areas are also a reasonable drive from Linden – Pittsburgh is 190 miles southwest of the community, while Philadelphia is about the same distance away to the southeast.

While Linden is quite small in terms of both population and total area, there are a few businesses located here. There are several great restaurants, including Henry’s Bar BQ, Mountain View Deli, and Harvest Moon Restaurant. A few specialty shops also exist in Linden, such as Bear Cub Indian Jewelry and Collectibles and White Silo Farm Supply.

Other notable attractions are located just a short drive away in Williamsport. Beer and wine enthusiasts might like to visit the Bastress Mountain Winery or Mountain Top Distillery, while families might prefer a walk down the Susquehanna Riverwalk or an afternoon at Faxon Bowling Lanes. Other interesting destinations in the city include Millionaires' Row and the Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society.

Linden is located in a humid continental climate zone. Weather conditions here vary with the season, starting off with a snowy and cold winter. Every year the region receives about three feet of snowfall, and daily highs average at 34 degrees Fahrenheit. Unfortunately, overnight lows will fall into the 20s or even lower, so the right gas or electric furnace is a necessity.

The spring and autumn months in Linden are warm and pleasant, but the summer months are muggy and hot. The hottest month of the year is July, with average daily highs into the 80s and 90s. An energy efficient central air conditioner with a high SEER rating is a valuable tool to make it through the season comfortably.
